The role of a Business Development/Sales Representative is an exciting and diverse journey. Your primary task is to drive growth. This means immersing yourself in market research, discovering unique opportunities, and shaping sales strategies that correspond with these findings. The role requires meticulous attention to our sales pipeline, ensuring potential leads evolve into successful sales. You will also engage in insightful analysis, continually identifying areas where our company can innovate to meet our clients' needs or fill a market void. Another aspect of your role is becoming a Portfolio Specialist. You'll master our suite of technology design consulting services, effectively aligning them with the specific needs of our clients. Your expert knowledge will guide clients to the solutions that best serve their goals. Above all, you will act as a Client Relationship Steward and Service Ambassador. Building lasting relationships with our existing and potential clients is the cornerstone of our success. The Business Development /Sales Representative will:

  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client business models, needs, and growth plans.

  2. Sales of services related to Workplace Technology and IT Infrastructure Systems, Acoustic and Technology Project Management Services. 

  3. Collaborate with relevant technical teams to develop customised service proposals.

  4. Conduct market research to understand trends and competition, and implement effective sales strategies.

  5. Generate leads and convert them into sales, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and provide regular updates on sales progress.

  6. Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Experience and Characteristics

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

  1. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Representative, preferably within the IT or Tech Consulting sector.

  2.  Experience with CRM software and in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  3. Experience in working in a fast-paced, challenging, and ever-evolving business environment.

  4. Ability to work closely with relevant PTS team members (from Workplace Technology and Digital Infrastructure teams) to present our comprehensive solutions and a cohesive and unified PTS to our clients.

Other Qualifications and Skills

  1. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, workplace/AV tevchnology and modern technology systems, data management standards and regulations.

  2. Strong ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences.

  3. Understanding of Construction or Built Out Environment is a plus.

  4. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.

  5. Highly analytical with a knack for understanding market trends and customer needs.

  6. Self-motivated, resilient, and ambitious.

  7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.

  8. Excellent spoken and written English and able to travel to attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
