A Leading Global Data Centre Developer appointed PTS to conduct an independent audit on five of its DC sites and deliver clear insights on the construction quality, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance of the DCs.
Key Components of the Engagement
The engagement includes a comprehensive assessment on each of its DC site (each averaging 8,100 sqm GFA) of the following:
1) Design & Construction Quality: Structural, MEP & System Installation Integrity
2) ESG & Safety Compliance: Compliance with Local & Occupational Health & Safety Codes, Assessments on Accessibility, Fire Safety Systems, Natural Disaster Provisions & Environment Impact etc
3) Security: Security Zoning, CCTV Coverage, Points of Entry for Public Utilities, Telco Services etc
4) System Reliability & Resistance: Systems ability to meet Uptime Tier 3 Criteria, with Single Point of Failure (SPOF) Analysis on Electrical, Cooling & Structured Cabling Systems; Network Architecture aligned with TIA942B, covering Entrance Rooms (ER) and the different Distribution Areas (MMR, MDF, IDF etc)
5) Testing & Commissioning: Review of T&C Scripts, Records, Failure Testing Protocols
6) Construction to Operations Handover Review: Verify Government Approvals, Occupation Permit, Compliance Certs, Ensure Drawings, Register, Manuals Training Records are complete
7) Defects Liability Period (DLP) Management: Verify Defects are rectified
