A social network giant taps on PTS Singapore's Physical Infrastructure and AV expertise for its workplace expansion projects in the APAC region and India.

The Summary
The social network company client experienced significant growth in recent years and wanted to expand its Singapore office and refurbish its existing office floors.
Among the spaces planned were:
Arrival area
Café/Barista/Bar
Engagement zone
Small, medium, large meeting rooms
Phone booths
Neighbourhood and team zones comprising work positions for approx. 100-120 workstations
The new floor specifically, will serve as a swing space for employees and will feature reception and client-facing areas.
The Challenge
The client has many global technology standards to keep their high quality of services. They thus needed an independent local consultant that could:
Translate these global standards to work in the local market
Represent the client in the project from a tech perspective
Procure the right kit at the right price
Oversee the implementation to ensure that the schedule, budget, quality and design intents are kept, as well as
Coordinate the design with the other trades in the project (ID MEP and contractors)
The Solution
PTS Singapore worked closely with the client to understand their technology challenges and reviewed the global technology standards provided. The team then built out a physical infrastructure that could support the new and refurbished floors, in compliance with the technology standards and robust enough to support the technology innovations and proactive systems to come.
To promote communication and collaboration among the client's employees and visitors, PTS incorporated video walls and digital signage into its AV design. These enhancements not only enlivened the office environment but also created new spaces for added interaction and inspiration.
The team leveraged its extensive experience and AV/IT infrastructure and closely coordinated with the client on the project from design through to project completion.
The project was completed successfully on time and the client further engaged PTS Singapore for similar projects for its other regional offices throughout APAC and India.
